The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the superior quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The company stage made for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
